Manley Ministry Update - Haiti Update, 19 Jan 2010

Dear Praying Friends,
So many of you have expressed a desire to help with the Haiti relief efforts. MAF is coordinating communications, logistics and has provided an open door for many Christian agencies.
Many organizations are attempting to bring aid into Haiti and news reports have continued to show that the aid is NOT getting to the victims. Did you know that MAF is playing a strategic role? John Woodberry, our director of Disaster Relief, contacted US military officials informing them that the MAF hangar on the international airport in Port Au Prince was available. Because of this, the military has begun allowing Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Blessing, World Vision and other Christian organizations to start delivering aid.
The pictures below show MAF aiding partner mission MFI (Missionary Flights International) who specialize in flying larger loads between Florida and Haiti. We’ll try to include some photos of MAF aircraft next time. However, I can say from personal experience, it’s difficult to get pictures of what you’re doing while you’re doing it.
