Banks, Ron & Jackie

Ron and Jackie Banks have served over two decades with Mission Aviation Fellowship: Ron has used Aviation Technology as a pilot over the Amazon jungle of southern Venezuela, updated Information Technology by developing email systems for MAF and other missions, and now is using Learning Technology for training and developing pastors in remote areas.

Ron is the Latin America area manager for Learning Technologies. MAF's Learning Technologies are used by pastors, church leaders, and churches to bring Biblical and leadership training to bi-vocational pastors in remote areas. Christian workers can remain in their cultural context as they develop their own education, and church leaders can continue working while furthering their own education.

Ron's Life Verse - Genesis 26:25 “Isaac built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord. There he pitched his tent, and there his servants dug a well.” Ron says this verse states a missionary’s priorities: build a permanent altar in the home, but a temporary house, and create a ministry that still servers well after you are gone.

Jackie's Life Verse - Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and he will make your paths straight." Jackie knows that as she daily trusts God, He will direct her path.
